I am not typically inspired by nature or feelings or the human condition, but rather by the medium I am working in. Each medium has it’s own fascinating characteristics. When working with hot glass, it is the glass itself that inspires me. The way that it flows and blends together, how it effortlessly transforms from a solid to a liquid and back again, it’s dazzling and inexhaustible array of vibrant colors, all of these things are endlessly fascinating for me.
