ISEA Art Exhibit ISEA Annual Art Exhibit / 2010 Forest Hills Fine Art Center - Grand Rapids MI
Annual Exhibit of ISEA - experimental multi-media contemporary art by leading international artists

Why ISEA?

ISEA is The International Society of Experimental Artists and Experimental Artists, Inc.

ISEA explores old and new materials / in old and new combinations / using old and new methods / 2D or 3D - often with daring exploration of the principles and elements of design.

Experimentation is the key element!  Has art ever been done this way before?  Do you see the mark of the artist?  Do you need to spend time with this enchanting work of art?  Do you want to know more?

If you find yourself asking these questions that work of art may have been created by an ISEA artist!

Some of the materials we use are acrylics, water-media, oils, enamels, graphite, metal, fiber, wax, sand, chalk, plaster, paper, wire, caulking, photographs, handmade papers, cloth, inks -

Layering, scraping back, spraying, scratching, carving, embedding, pouring, printing, carving, stitching, pasting, gluing, welding, soldering, burning -

Breaking the rules and making it work!

Do you find yourself carefully checking the entry requirements for exhibits because you use experimental materials and methods?  Check out ISEA - you may have found a group that celebrates your art!
